Synopsis: Scrappy dreams of mining and drinking.
















Comments: Odd assortment of ugly, ugly men. Somehow Scrappy looks especially bland. His button shorts are so very Mickey. I don't understand why a rich woman (whose horn plays "how dry I am") is taking a pole with a bunch of beer on it with her in her limousine. This cartoon came out a little over a year after the 21st Amendment repealed the 18th Amendment, ending prohibition. Tho as this was a dream of some sort of past time, I suppose they could have had it during prohibition. A very slow take on the part of the light fingered ugly man. In the dream, the father of the cats has abandoned them and is at the bar, followed by Scrappy and his brother smashing themselves on the heads to get to sleep.
