Synopsis: Young rabbit is somehow supposed to keep his little brother from being eaten by a predator.
Comments: Ugly eyes. Is an animal wearing a top open in the front wearing a shirt or a jacket? He puts on a coat, but that could be an overcoat over a suit jacket. I wonder if the dance is a specific caricature of a known performance of the song. (The internet tells me the song was written for the cartoon, but it's a parody of Joe Penner.) Vicious looking weasel (it is a weasel, right?). Shadow shot. Great eye shot. Why put on such a half assed rabbit costume? Why, to kill time in a cartoon, of course. I wonder if kids in the '30s were afraid hillbillies or hobos would tunnel into their house to steal them away to be eaten. Luckily they have a cactus garden in the middle of their deciduous yard. Young rabbit is Elmer.
