Synopsis: Coffee pot reminisces on a rainy day about a time when it wasn't raining.

Comments: Open on live action. Incessant whistling. Kettles, teapot and a kettle. Pointless live action reaction shots. OK, probably not pointless, in that it likely saved on the cost of actually making animation. Mr. Coffeepot's wife doesn't appear to get her own name (perhaps because she kept her maiden name of teapot for professional reasons, and this was frowned upon at the time). I'm not sure if the cow is actually Molly or not. Fairly well made but decidedly not good.

  1. According to Wikipedia this is the first appearance of Molly Moo-Cow. Correct?

  2. I'm hesitant to confirm something like "first appearance" when I don't know it to be generally agreed upon since it's technically beyond the scope of my actual knowledge, but the Toonopedia says this as well (and could be where wikipedia go it from): http://www.toonopedia.com/mollymoo.htm . Seems likely based on listed films. And assuming this was intended as the same character (see Bugs Bunny for the well known reasons to not make definitive statements about a character's first appearance when it isn't named as such).
